Scandic Rosendahl is by Lake Pyhäjärvi, a ten minutes drive from the city center and right next to the Pyynikki Nature Conservation Area. Pyynikki is part of a line of ridges and it's ridge rises 85 metres above the level of Lake Pyhäjärvi and 162 metres above the sea level. So remember to pack your jogging shoes since the outdoor activities are worth checking out.

Tampere

Tampere is the largest inland city of the Nordic countries and the capital of Finland's Western Lake District. Tampere is located in the midst of a lake labyrinth - 200 lakes situated within the city limits. There are approximately 200 000 citizens in Tampere and more than 469 000 inhabitants in total, including the area called Tampere Region.
