International Technology Conference
Mindtrek functions as an open platform that facilitates the birth of innovations, both nationally and internationally.
We aim to offer high-quality presentations, networking between top companies and future talents, as well as mind-broadening experiences and current trends from the industry. We aspire to bring about a collision between applied research and the corporate world.
Mindtrek is for technology experts, enthusiasts and innovators of different fields, who desire to be in the frontline of technological development. Mindtrek is where innovations are brought to life across industry borders.
In 2017, the conference will consist of different events including Open World, IoT, Immersion, Smart Tampere & Asia, eHealth, and Academic Mindtrek. In addition to these, Makertech competition will be held for the second time around in 2017. Makertech is open for all developers and companies alike wanting to bring forward their ideas on a selection of topics.
Altogether around 80 different sessions; speeches, presentations, demos and workshops, took place at the Mindtrek 2016 conference, and 26 sponsors were on display in the exhibition area.
It’s all about networking: connecting with companies, innovators, decision-makers, students and other professionals. In 2016, the conference attracted almost 1,200 participants from all around the world, with 38.8% of attendees coming from outside of Finland.
“Mindtrek gathers great Nordic fusion of top notch tech savvies and urban innovators towards progress of contemporary cities and societies.”
