Ian Dempsey is managing Director of Prescience Business and Management Development Ltd which offers a comprehensive range of advisory and consultancy services. These include but are not limited to strategic planning; programme, portfolio & project management; organisational development; placemaking; regional branding; digital transformation; research and analysis; training; mentoring; facilitation as well as monitoring and evaluation. The business was established in 2016 by Ian Dempsey who has considerable knowledge and expertise in strategic planning and in the design, planning and implementation of multi-disciplinary integrated development strategies for economic and community development. This is based on considerable experience in commercial consultancy as well as over 30 years’ direct experience in the planning, implementation and evaluation of EU and national development programmes in Ireland and abroad. Through this work he has developed extensive practitioner knowledge of EU institutions, policies, strategies and support measures as well as of Government-led enabling policies, strategies and measures to support and resource regional, rural and local development.
