Academic Mindtrek 2021 welcomes master students to showcase their recent projects, presenting interesting and innovative ideas that may shape the way we interact with technologies of tomorrow as either a part of their studies or free time endeavor. Our goal is to create an environment where students can practice presenting in front of an audience, get contacts to working life, get feedback for their projects and show visitors how great projects can be developed in shorter periods of time.
To participate, students must submit a short description (maximum 2 pages) of their work. The descriptions should include:
– Motivation to participate in Mindtrek
– Description and results of the project that will be presented
– Submissions must be sent via Easychair. Check further information from ”Submission guidelines”
Students selected will be required to create a 10-minute video to present their project at the event. The video should be interesting and engaging, so avoid plain slides with audio narration.
Presentations will happen on:
2.6.2021, 2nd day of the event, via Zoom
3.6.2021, 3rd day of the event, via Mozilla Hubs (to be confirmed)
Students can earn 1 ECTS for participating. In order to receive the extra credit, they must publish a text (similar to a blog post) on Mindtrek’s Facebook page sharing their experience at the event.
