Smart City: "India’s Smart Cities Mission: Opportunities for Collaboration"
In 2016, the Government of India launched the Smart Cities Mission - an urban renewal and program to transform 100 cities across the country into Smart Cities. In order to provide insights into the immense business opportunities in this sector, the Embassy of India is organizing a seminar on ”India’s Smart Cities Mission: Opportunities for Collaboration” 11 October 2018 in Tampere.
Three Finnish companies and two Indian companies will present their current operations in the Smart City sector in India, and participate in a panel discussion, which will highlight the experience of implementing Smart City projects in India, collaboration with other technology and service providers, localisation, and advise for startups and SME’s interested in exploring the Smart City opportunities in India.
