Asa is the host of Mindtrek Openmind 2015 and can be found at the conference both days, mainly at the main hall. We asked Asa a few questions.
Who are you and where are you from?
My name is Asa (pronounced ei-saa) and I’m originally from Bognor Regis, which is officially the sunniest town in England. I’ve been enjoying the Finnish way of life since 2002 and I currently live in Tampere with my family.
What do you do?
I am a senior editor, which means I get to flex my journalistic muscles on a daily basis, as well as help others to research, write, edit and create the best work possible. I work for gbtimes, an international media company based in Tampere that writes about China, its relationship with the West and vice-versa.
Have you heard of Mindtrek Openmind?
This is the first time that this event has crossed my path and I am rather intrigued to discover what lays in store.
What are you expecting from Mindtrek Openmind?
As a journalist, I try to avoid having too many expectations and like approaching new situations with, well, an open mind.
See you all next week!
