My Tampere videocontest has 14 participants

My Tampere -videocontest has received 14 videos, 14 different visions of the true essence of Tampere.

The results has been announced at the MindTrek Awards Ceremony October 8th.

The jury decided to share the prize sum 2000 Euro among three videos:

The winner is "Tampere – A Truly British Guide", by Dan Castro (UK) and Nick Rowley (UK).

The shared second prize, both 500 Euro, "L.A.Kirppis, Tampere" by Jukka Pajuvirta and "Kuvia öisestä kaupungista" by Pauli Hokkanen and Antti Kurra.

And in addition to these one diploma: "That's our Tampere" by Franziska Emhardt and Kathrin Muessigmann.

Rights to the entries:

The City of Tampere has the right to freely use, reproduce, publish, and distribute the video clips entered in the contest without compensation in their marketing and press release material as well as in their exhibition and educational activities. Also Suomen Lehtiyhtymä has the right to use the videos without compensation.
