"Cyber Communities: Who's Out There And What Do They Want?"

People come in all shapes, sizes and flavors, whether in the real world or the World Wide Web. Everyone likes to feel that he or she is a unique snowflake among many; nevertheless, there are distinct character types with similar likes, dislikes, wants and desires. What are the identifying traits of these groups and what can you to do attract more of the good ones, the white knights and evangelists, to your cyber community while reducing the effects of the not-so-good black knights and trolls?

Hear how CCP's innovative implementation of a democratically-elected group of player advocates has created what the New York Times dubbed "a watershed in the evolution of online democracy" and learn practical lessons in community management you can apply toward inspiring creativity, encouraging growth and avoiding some common pitfalls in your own cyber space.
