Ubimedia track

“The medium is the message!” – however, what is the medium in ubiquitous media when the media is distributed into the natural environment of the human? Especially this topic is discussed within the Ubimedia track of the International Academic MindTrek 2009 Conference. The track discusses the latest efforts around ambient media, pervasive computation, media technology, and ubiquitous computation. Topics include context awareness, human factors, ergonomics, human-computer-interaction, artistic works, business models, technology, and service design.

The track constitutes a set of 14 cutting edge papers from Brazil, Germany, Finland, Spain, Australia, India, The Netherlands, Korea, Japan, UK, and Denmark covering several of these aspects of ubimedia.
