Mr. Giles leads the Global Cities practice within Accenture Health and Public Service. A dedicated team of professionals that support cities, counties and new urban developments to deliver better outcomes for citizens through the innovative use of technology, in combination with new business and governance models.
He has worked with city, regional and national governments in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the US and Latin America. Over the last decade, he has advised the World Economic Forum on Smart Grids, the Future of Urban Development and is currently sitting on the Singaporean Government’s Young Urban Leaders group.
His expertise spans sustainable economic development strategies, governance, financing strategy, technology innovation, human-centred design of digital services and citizen engagement. He is currently working closely with governments in the Middle East and Asia on Smart Nation initiatives that create cross cutting digital platforms for public service delivery.
