Maja Yhde is an experienced project manager, who has been working with smart city projects in the intersection between the public -, private- and knowledge sector for several years. She has managed large projects involving multiple stakeholders and is a driven facilitator. At the moment Maja Yhde is leading a large Smart City competency programme targeting the public demand in Greater Copenhagen. The unique programme involves a comprehensive interaction with leading smart Living Labs supporting clarification on proof of value. She recently received an award for her work with Gate 21’s international Smart City Conference: Greater Copenhagen Smart Solutions in Copenhagen – Living Labs for liveable cities.

This talk is about how the idea of Europe’s largest Living Lab for Outdoor Lighting has enabled a more creative and innovative playground, for testing and demonstrating different kinds of smart solutions. These help the market and the public sector move forward on their smart journey, creating the opportunity of transparency and comparison, and ideally compelling business cases.
