Makertech is an open competition for all technology and programme developers. The purpose is to find new solutions for application development. The innovation can be a preliminary plan, a prototype of an application or product, or a finished solution. Makertech consists of two different categories; one for developers and another for companies. Best submissions in the developers category will be rewarded with money prizes (up to 1500€) and best ones in the companies category will get a chance to discuss further development of their idea with Tekes.
The main criteria to be evaluated will be the potential for further development of the idea, and how it could be used in business. The goal is to cultivate the submitted idea or prototype together with experts of the field and make it into viable business. The winners of Makertech will be announced during Mindtrek 17th - 19th October, 2016, along with the winners of the innovative procurements assigned by the City of Tampere, Tredea Ltd. and University of Tampere.
All Makertech Deadlines extended until September 30, 2016.
