Don’t miss each of the finalists pitching their ideas at the final of the MindTrek LaunchPad Competition, taking place on Thursday 29th, September. The winners for audience, press and main prize by the expert jury will be announced at the conference on Friday 30th.

MindTrek and the jury extends its thanks and appreciation to all those who submitted their innovative product entries into the competition, congratulates the finalists and looks forward to an exciting final at this year’s MindTrek Conference.

Have you invented the next big thing? Do you have a transforming media service or technology innovation that can change the way we live? Or just a too good digital content business concept?

Present your product at the MindTrek Conference in front of industry journalists, venture capitalists, bloggers, web and mobile savvies and innovators!

The MindTrek LaunchPad competition awards innovative new Finnish digital media products or demos – and the people behind them, who have the urge to make it big.

The prize sum is 20 000 €. The main jury of industry experts will award the most promising business case (15 000 €), the press jury is going to emphasize the innovativeness of the product (4 000 €), and also the audience will choose its own favorite (1 000 €).

Moreover, the winner will receive expert business development services in the form of half day's legal consulting (IP and contracts) from Lexia. Lexia is internationally recognized as one of the leading Finnish law firms in the fields of intellectual property, technology and media.

Submissions

The registration for the competition opens on May 5, 2011. All the submissions need to be received by an online form on our site. The submission time ends in September 5, 2011.

Six finalists will be selected from the submitted applications to demonstrate in front of the jurors and the conference audience on Thursday, September 29, 2011.
