HammerKit is a company that delivers a cloud-based Service Design System. The company is a small software business based in Helsinki, Finland that absolutely practices what it preaches. HammerKit is a 100% cloud-based SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) and during this talk Mark Sorsa-Leslie, CEO of HammerKit, will talk through:

- what services a modern SME can acquire from the cloud
- the pros and cons of running your business in the cloud
- how to move your business to the cloud and gain the benefits

The talk will highlight the real-life experience of HammerKit and provide a forum for discussion on the differences between just having a web site and truly running your business in the cloud.



Mark Sorsa-Leslie (born 1972) joined HammerKit as Managing Director in November 2007.
Mark worked in the real estate industry in the UK from 1989 before he co-founded a real estate software company, OpenEra Systems Ltd in 2001. In 2004 he launched the first eLearning marketplace for the UK Oil and Gas industry and in 2005 helped Tieto to develop new products and services, ultimately becoming Head of the Programme Office overseeing Tieto's Profit 2007 programme. In 2007 Mark was selected as a Seedcamp 20 finalist with an innovative real-estate management application called Reavia, which was built using HammerKit and joined the company shortly after as Managing Director.
