uAxes - new earnings proposition to WiFi capacity providers

Telecom operators are facing a dilemma. The Internet traffic in their networks will continue to grow exponentially, far beyond the spectrum and spectrum efficiency gains achievable by LTE technology. To address the dilemma Notava has created uAxes offloading solution. The solution allows the telecom operators to harvest fragmented multi owned WiFi capacity and to perform managed WiFi offloading in the case of congestion in their networks. On the other hand, uAxes provides a new opportunity for WiFi capacity providers as they can tap into a revenue stream by allowing telecom operators to access their excess capacity without additional investments.


Antti Lappeteläinen received his M.Sc in Systems and operations research in the Engineering Physics and Mathematics faculty, now part of Aalto university . Currently Antti works as Director and uAxes business owner in Notava. At work Antti brings his 15 years of Nokia experience on telecom, local area conncetivity, cloud computing and intellectual property rights to Notava and its customers. Out-of-work Antti enjoys Aerobic exercises and reading memoirs of politicians and intellectuals.
