Have you invented the next big thing? Do you have a transforming media service or technology innovation that can change the way we live? Or just a too good digital content business concept?
Present your product at the MindTrek Conference in front of industry journalists, venture capitalists, bloggers, web and mobile savvies and innovators!
The MindTrek LaunchPad competition awards innovative new Finnish digital media products or demos – and the people behind it, who have the urge to make it big.
The prize sum is 20 000 €. The main jury of industry experts will award the most promising business case (15 000 €), the press jury is going to emphasize the innovativeness of the product (4 000 €), and also the audience will choose its own favorite (1 000 €).
So, if you have a viable business plan, your product is innovative, and your pitch is going to rock the house, you may take it all. But it’s also possible that the prize sum will be divided between two or three competitors.
Besides the money, the winners will get business sparring and expert services provided by MindTrek partners. All the finalists will attend high-level pitch training sessions by Technopolis Development Services in September. In addition, the winner gets a year-long subscription for Technopolis Online worth 5000 euros. Technopolis Online is the most comprehensive investment database of Finnish high tech industry. It combines validated company data and the latest financing rounds to provide a platform for visibility, business intelligence and transparent market information.
Moreover, the winner will receive expert business development services in the form of one day's legal consulting (IP and contracts) worth approx 1750 € from Lexia. Lexia is internationally recognized as one of the leading Finnish law firms in the fields of intellectual property, technology and media.
You can register for the MindTrek LaunchPad by filling in an online form here by September 3rd (note: this is the extended deadline), at the latest.
