15.00 Launching of the competition for media product development of the Finnish Red Cross and Pelastakaa Lapset ry – Introduction by Dean Teemu Leinonen, Media Lab, University of Art and Design, Helsinki (IN FINNISH)
Hannu-Pekka Laiho and Johanna Lassy-Mäntyvaara from the Finnish Red Cross present their work globally and locally, as well as Red Cross campaigns and visibility. They also talks about the types of product the Red Cross Organisation would like to see developed by companies participating in the media product competition organised by the Dimeke project
Anne Karppinen from Save the Children Finland (Pelastakaa Lapset ry) tells about their work to support children and families in distress and their need for new media tools to facilitate this work
